Some Changes Coming to Coaster Kings

Hello all! First and foremost, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our readers who have been with us throughout the many years we’ve been sharing our love, passion, and critique of amusement parks and roller coasters online. This is not a farewell, so don’t worry! As a result of personal changes in our life, we have chosen to modify Coaster Kings’ operations.

Coaster Kings will retire the California and Florida brands on January 1, 2023. California Coaster Kings and Florida Coaster Kings both have their own Facebook and Instagram accounts for regional coverage at this time. This stems from 2013, when California Coaster Kings was established. Since Alex and I (Sean) moved away from California, it has been tough to retain the initial concentration on California that started it all. In order to concentrate on building a stronger and more consistent brand, we’ve chosen to condense all of our Facebook presence into a single page: the Coaster Kings page. This includes the closure of the Facebook page for European Coaster Kings.

In addition, the Instagram accounts for California Coaster Kings and Florida Coaster Kings will be retired. Our European Instagram presence is substantially greater, and thanks to our devoted team of content creators, it has been gradually expanding. There will be two Instagram pages moving forward: European Coaster Kings and Coaster Kings. Since the debut of European Coaster Kings in 2016, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Sven for his ongoing participation and management of the European brand.

Regionally, there have been a number of Twitter accounts in the past. The oldest account, @CACoasterKings, will remain the sole Twitter account for the brand and has been rebranded to Coaster Kings (handle will remain @CACoasterKings).

The majority of Coaster Kings’ operations already have a global reach. No changes will be made to our TikTok, YouTube, or Coaster Kings Radio (Podcast), and we invite everyone who has not yet followed/subscribed to do so!

There is a great deal of intriguing coverage on the horizon! Naturally, thecoasterkings.com will be the central location for all of our material, including news stories, rankings, travel reports, event coverage, and more. We are pleased with these future adjustments and feel they will make Coaster Kings a more consistent and enjoyable brand. We have already posted hundreds of articles and have a backlog of thousands of photos and videos that we cannot wait to share with you.

Thank you for your ongoing confidence in Coaster Kings, which will soon celebrate 10 years in industry; we eagerly anticipate the next decade!

Sincerely,

Sean Verheijen
