Sean: After the departure of Boomerang at Knott’s Berry Farm last year, people started wondering where the brightly-colored roller coaster would be located next. Many guessed at a Cedar Fair park, some guessed an Asian park. Thanks to Belgian Plopsa Fans, we now have an answer as to where Boomerang is reopening.

Derrion: We hope everyone is enjoying their holiday. Here is a holiday treat, if you plan on visiting the Disneyland Resort, the iconic attraction is back after its refurbishment. This update will focus on some of the cosmetic changes you can see to the new the Matterhorn Bobsleds.
Alexander: Our last official day in Tokyo was a survey of 3 little parks, each with one major coaster. While the latter two parks are actually Yokohama, Japan’s 2nd largest city, the “Greater Tokyo Area” is composed of both cities; together they compose the world’s most populous metro.

Derrion: It may not be the most thrilling place in the world, but it does live up to its reputation as the happiest place on Earth for me. Disneyland is very therapeutic and keeps my inner child alive. This was a great day to visit the parks because it was the first day of the Holiday season at the Disneyland Resort. This won’t be the longest update but it was great to notice some of the changes going on now for the festive celebration.

Sean: We’re back at Six Flags Magic Mountain where the park is quickly shifting between two of their seasonal events. Fright Fest just ended last week, but very few of that remains. Derrion: Hello coaster royalty! I have been eager to get back to Universal Studios Hollywood as a guest after my recent impromptu trip to the Universal Orlando Resort for the first time. Universal Studios Orlando was a larger park but I noticed the quality and aesthetics of the buildings here at Universal Studios Hollywood were less outdated and more welcoming. Rather than focus on the positives and negatives of both Universal parks, this update will include recent updates and changes to Universal Studios Hollywood with a hint of contrast between the two Universal parks.

Alexander: The seemingly countless amusement parks of the greater Tokyo area come in all shapes and sizes – most are small, but several are surprisingly big once you’re inside (Tobu Zoo), and some are utterly massive (DisneySea, Yomiuriland). Perhaps the biggest small park in Tokyo (or maybe the smallest big park) is Toshimaen?
Laughter rings out at Sea Lion and Otter Amphitheater as California sea lions Clyde and Seamore put on their own hilarious holiday TV special; playful dolphins jump and splash, celebrating the season with a tropical twist in the Dolphin Island Christmas show; the Christmas story is told from a new point of view, through the eyes of the animals, in SeaWorld’s live nativity musical performed under the stars; families gather to share nostalgic moments with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and his friends; more than a million holiday lights shine brightly at SeaWorld, including the park’s iconic 320-foot Skytower Tree of Lights at the center of it all; and the big guy himself listens carefully to the Christmas wishes of little ones at Santa’s Christmas Village.
