Coasters are often forgotten about by enthusiasts and the general public when they become rough or they stand in the shadow of newer coasters. Sometimes a ride never becomes well-known even though it truly deserves more recognition. Today we’ll be looking at five such coasters in California. Either they receive too much criticism in our eyes, or they simply don’t get recognized enough. Let’s take a look at 5 Underrated Coasters in California! Continue reading “5 Underrated Coasters In California”
After a successful Q&A earlier this year, we are now back with a new Q&A session on August 9th. It’ll be the start of more-frequent Q&A sessions. Each session will have a particular set of topics to stay current and fully get an opinionated discussion going. (Rather than very general questions). The first one is coming up on Tuesday night, August 9th! Continue reading “California Coaster Kings SUMMER Q&A on August 9th”
We were back at one of our favorite parks in the state (or anywhere really), SeaWorld San Diego! The park that perfectly combines rides, exhibitions, shows, animals, landscaping, and family fun. During this visit we made sure to get our last One Ocean show in, and we spent quite some time in the animal exhibits. Of course we also rode the park’s rides. That and a whole lot more in our Trip Report! Continue reading “SeaWorld San Diego – Trip Report July 2016”
Yesterday, we got a chance to visit SeaWorld San Diego, and got a chance to check out the all new Summer Vibes Show; Gazillion Bubbles. This show, housed in the Mission Bay Theater, featured Guinness World Record holding bubble artist Danny Yang. “World record holding bubble artist?” you ask. Well Danny and his family hold the record for world’s largest bubble (156 ft long) and most people fit into a bubble (over 100).
The third park we visited on our Texas trip was SeaWorld San Antonio! The park is greatly situated on elevated land and features a giant lake as its centerpiece. This park, unlike our local SeaWorld San Diego, has a thrill-ride collection in addition to stellar shows and awesome exhibits. The park felt well rounded and definitely not cramped as there was ample space between stadiums, exhibits, and rides. The park took us by surprise and was a very enjoyable place to visit. Join us as we take a look around the park!
SeaWorld® San Diego’s Magic Weekends takes center stage at the park April 2–May 1, unveiling some of the most hypnotizing performances that have left children and adults awestruck for centuries!

SeaWorld San Diego is opening a couple of new rides in Spring of 2017! And it wouldn’t be SeaWorld if it didn’t involve an awesome way to further explore creatures from the earth’s oceans. The new ride/area is thus filled with aquariums. Let’s find out what exactly we can expect to see coming to SeaWorld San Diego in 2017! Continue reading “Ocean Explorer coming to SeaWorld San Diego in 2017!”
I’ve been working on this Ride Review for a little while now, with all the other coverage in between I was back tracked for a little bit. But finally here’s a look at California’s surprise ride. Manta at SeaWorld San Diego! This Mack ride is a wonderful family coaster, that uses state of the art technology, launches riders twice, and is surrounded by sea-life and birds. It’s one heck of a great ride! Continue reading “Manta Ride Review – SeaWorld San Diego”
Returning are all the favorites…. Shamu® Christmas Miracles, a whale of a holiday show with SeaWorld’s family of killer whales as the stars, and Dolphin Island Christmas, a holiday party celebrated dolphin-style with a tropical twist. In addition to the special holiday-themed animal shows, the park will be brimming with yuletide cheer, as Christmas characters meet and mingle with guests, and Mrs. Claus brings a little holiday magic to everyone. All the festivities can be enjoyed among more than one million low-energy holiday lights throughout the park. With all that and more, SeaWorld® is the place to be this Christmas season.
Raphael, our special correspondent from Brazil, visited California for the first time this July. As a Florida park-fan, he decided to visit the opposite coast, and visited almost every single park in the state. His enthusiasm and great re-telling of his Californian adventures continue in the fourth of many iCCK articles. Let him take you to Legoland California, SeaWorld San Diego, and Belmont Park, in this brand new article! Continue reading “Raphael’s Lego Orcas Seaside Adventure”
In this awesome state with a huge variety of different parks and coasters, we’re very fortunate to have a bunch of different launches. Whether it’s hydraulic, LIM, LSM, or Fly-Wheel, we’ve got it all in this state! Where as some states lack launches, we’ve got some that launch you up in the sky, into pitch black Egyptian tombs, or backwards through rare elements. In fact, there are a total of 10 Launch Coasters in California, with a total of 17 launches! Let’s check out the 5 Best Launches in California! Continue reading “The 5 Best Launches in California”
It has been a while since I’ve personally been to SeaWorld San Diego, and had the opportunity to visit myself this time. I had an absolutely great time, it’s one of the best maintained parks around. The operations on their rides were incredible, and even though I spent 12 hours there, I didn’t even get to experience everything they have to offer (I did make sure to get plenty of rides in on their coasters 😛 ) Take a look at the park and what they offer during their 50th summer celebration!
