Alexander: Greetings, Florida fans! It’s been a while since we did a general park update for Busch Gardens Tampa, but today’s the day! Let’s take a look at all the progress taking place as 2019 and 2020 projects charge on!
While some general details were announced on March 1st, the RMC conversion of Gwazi still largely remains a mystery. Now, thanks to a document recently filed with the FAA, we can confirm at least one stat of the new coaster – it will be 210 feet tall!
Nick: After months of speculation, Busch Gardens has finally revealed the first details about Gwazi’s transformation into a hybrid roller coaster! Read on to find out more!
Nick: It’s been a little over a week since our last Busch Gardens construction update, and there’s been quite a bit of progress on both of their coaster projects, so let’s take a look!

Alexander: For years we’ve been compiling a list of the top coasters/attractions in the state of California to cap the end of each season. With 2018 came the introduction of our Florida branch, and so too comes a Top 10 list for the state of Florida.
Nick: It’s no secret that Busch Gardens Tampa is planning on revamping Gwazi into a new attraction for 2020, but up until now we’ve only had some not-so-subtle hints from September’s Tigris announcement that suggested the ride would receive an RMC makeover.
Sean: Weekdays are great days to visit Busch Gardens Tampa, and so we wound up there. No queues, all coasters were operating, and the weather was gorgeous. In this update we’ll feature our experiences along with a Tigris construction update. The new Premier Sky Rocket II coaster is coming along nicely! Nick: Busch Gardens invited us to the opening night media party for this year’s Howl-o-Scream, so my good friend Lars and I headed down to Tampa to check it out! If you’ve read my Halloween Horror Nights review, you already know I love the Halloween season and all the theme park events that come with it, so getting to go to Howl-o-Scream this year was a real treat, especially since I hadn’t been since 2016. So how was the event? Read on to find out!

Nick: Busch Gardens Tampa made their 2019 announcement on September 12th, introducing Tigirs, a new triple launch coaster for the Stanleyville area. They also teased a revamped version of Gwazi coming for 2020, implying that Rocky Mountain Construction might be involved! Be sure to read on for all the details!
Nick: I recently made the trek out to Busch Gardens Tampa with the sole intention of photographing their coasters to create a nice backlog of content for posting to our Instagram page. I ended up taking over 500 photos, so I figured I’d showcase some of my favorites in an article here!
