We were able to visit the Santa Cruz beach Boardwalk earlier this month. Although we got a little backlogged on the update for personal reasons, we were able to snap some photos of the construction site for the new entrance area that’s being built this coming summer, and we’d still like to be able to share that content with you guys. The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk will be hosting a variety of special events in the coming months as they often do around this time of year. Santa Cruz locals enjoyed Hot Rods at the Beach and the Sea Glass and Open Art Festival, and can look forward to Holiday Train Rides, and the Boardwalk Holiday Bash. It’s been a few months since our last visit to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, so we took a trip out to provide you guys with an update of this superb seaside amusement park. Between the progress their of 2017 project, and one heck of a crowded visit, we’ve gt plenty to cover, so please enjoy the following update.
The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk has announced a $12 million improvement project scheduled to begin just after Labor Day. Concept drawings released today reveal a new main entrance and a fresh new look for a section of the Boardwalk between Neptune’s Kingdom and Undertow opening in 2017!
In California we have a myriad of beautiful looking coasters all across the state. The colors a coaster wears can solidify its identity as a ride, make it stand out among an otherwise busy skyline, or just make a coaster look gorgeous. On Saturday January 23rd, several ACE Members/ Film makers premiered their newest work, a wonderful documentary telling the story of one of the most influential theme-park ride and rollercoaster manufacturers the world has ever seen, Arrow.
