I guess I was mainly inspired by Knott’s Berry Farm’s impressive ability to add boysenberry to pretty much anything. I wanted to find a way to incorporate actual berries as artistic materials. The hardest part of the whole process was finding boysenberries in February. I was about to give up and use blackberries instead when I found frozen boysenberries at Mother’s Market. The Knott’s Boysenberry Festival is an annual food-inspired event that celebrates the park’s historic roots by highlighting the little berry that started it all, the boysenberry. This year’s newly-expanded festival will feature over 75 unique boysenberry-inspired creations crafted by the Knott’s culinary team. Guests will have the opportunity to indulge in a tantalizing line up of dishes ranging from savory foods with a boysenberry twist to one-of-a-kind specialty desserts and drinks that can only be found at Knott’s Berry Farm during this time of the year. In addition to the numerous food and drink offerings, the Knott’s Boysenberry Festival offers a wide selection of local crafters, live music, musical stage shows and fun activities for guests of all ages to enjoy. Alexander: It’s been months since our last visit to our most-visited park, Six Flags Magic Mountain. While we love living in Orlando, we dearly miss our old home base! Plenty of changes are in motion during our first Magic Mountain visit of 2019, so let’s take a look!
Alexander: It’s great to be back in California for a little bit! Our 3-day visit included visits to all of our LA-area favs, starting with Knott’s Berry Farm! It’s been about 4 months since our last visit, and we’re seeing a lot of positive changes!
Preston: It was a very soggy day at the Disneyland Resort this past Thursday. Though the rain was strong, that did not stop us from heading over to Anaheim to visit the parks. In this update, we have Sleeping Beauty Castle updates, Astro Orbiter updates, some Lunar New Year festivities, and more!
