California’s Great America Update – July 20th 2015

More Roar…

More Roar promo002 (Large)Roar has been a staple of Six Flags Discovery Kingdom since its opening, and although it has had a bit of inconsistency in its quality, it has always been a fan favorite. Despite its recent high-quality operations, the park has announced that Roar will be closing on August 16th of 2015 to make way for future attractions. Now, mostly any coaster enthusiast is aware of what this may mean… Rocky Mountain Construction. Even though it has yet to be confirmed, it has been heavily rumored and seems to be by far the most likely option for the park next year. So, what does this mean? Is this really a good fit? Fast & Furious – Supercharged opens at Universal Studios Hollywood

The event took place on the back lot, trams dropped off the invited media and guests on New York street, after which we walked into the iconic Court House Square, where the ‘stunt’ opening was held. Twisted Colossus – RIDE REVIEW

Perhaps it’s the craziest air-machine in California (who am I kidding… IT IS the craziest air-machine in the state)… This ride has set Six Flags Magic Mountain apart. The ride is crazy, amazing, filled with air-time, but most importantly… FUN. It’s incredibly FUN, besides the thrilling aspects, the ride is just filled with spectacular entertainment when the trains race. Though now, Springfield has been completed entirely and has been officially opened to the public! And, the Top Gun has an exciting ‘twist’ to it, which you’ll read about. In addition, chains have been placed, lights are installed, and more elements are currently being constructed! The new Season Shopping Pass gives you a 20% on retail purchases — with NO minimum purchase — every time you visit.

Season Shopping Pass is only available to Thrill Pass Holders and Season Pass Holders. Valid at Six Flags Magic Mountain through January 3, 2016. Vouchers are non-transferable and Season Pass ID must be presented when making a purchase. Participating locations are subject to change.
